My name is Martin Aschoff, I was born in 1965 in Osnabrück/Germany and I live with my family in Munich. On the professional side I am occupied with these activities:
- Founder and member of the board of AGNITAS AG (e-mail marketing service provider)
- Maintainer of Open Source software OpenEMM
- Founder and managing director of ADAMATIS GmbH (which runs this blog)
- Consultant for companies developing, maintaining or forking Open Source software
- Speaker for Open Source issues at conventions and conferences (like OSCON)
- Member of the board at the Open Source Business Foundation (OSBF)
- Open Source coach of the Open Source Business Foundation (OSBF)

Before these jobs I worked as editor, editor-in-chief and managing director for about 10 years at computer magazine publishers and in the software industry (Microsoft among them - seriously!).
